Tips For Maintaining Your Bangs

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

Bangs are the strands of hair that have an angle on the side, are in straight layer and at times are lengthy. For a hairstylist, it is easy to handle the bangs. But for normal humans, it is difficult to do so. But if you want to care for your bangs, read this article to find out how.

Always blow-dry your bangs toward the front side of the face. If you using a round brush along with blow-dryer, use it from root to end. Then when you blow-dry your sides toward the same direction of lifting up your head, and make a parting on the side or close to center, your bang goes away. For straighter and long-lasting results, opt for straightener.

Once you finish blow-drying your hair, clip a Velcro roller both in the front and back. Spray a light hairspray and let it remain for some time. Then brush to get your chosen style and enjoy the benefits of bangs you prefer.

If you do not have patience to follow these methods, buy a straightener to get your desired look. But remember, straighteners can be quite damaging and hence it is important to use conditioner, while washing your hair to get a straight, finished bang.

Applying some lite wax or shine will keep your hair intact throughout the day. Spray a lite hair spray to finish the process.
